KLBP is currently accepting submissions for shows. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a beginner looking to get started, we encourage you to share your passion and ideas with our listeners. Currently, priority is given to those shows that are on-air ready and local to Long Beach, San Pedro, Wilmington, and the immediate surrounding communities.
We are happy to intake new producers with creative show ideas, regardless of experience level. All KLBP producers who utilize our studio to produce their show will receive some degree of training, depending on their previous experience and comfortability with the technology. You can find our evaluation criteria and technical audio requirements for shows below.
Please note, we only accept submissions from individuals who wish to produce their own radio program on KLBP. We do not accept advertisements, self promotion, and/or business promotions.
Once you have submitted an application, you can expect to receive a response within approximately 3-5 weeks, after our Programming department has had the time to review your submission for approval or denial. If you have any questions during the application process or would like more information about the requirements to be on KLBP, please email programming@klbp.org
